Welcome! I’m Matías Iglesias, a Scientific Data & AI Engineer building reliable systems for data, documents, models, and automation.

My work combines a scientific background in physics and economics with hands-on engineering in Python, SQL, machine learning, GenAI, retrieval systems, data pipelines, and reproducible analytical infrastructure.

I focus on turning complex and messy information into systems that can be queried, evaluated, automated, and used for decisions: from research-grade socioeconomic measurement to AI-powered knowledge infrastructure and operational data products.
